BRIEF
Brief: We had to create a short film, approximately five minutes long, with the goal of visually exploring and narrating a topic of our choice.
CONCEPT
PROCESS
Processo: After identifying the core theme, I began developing the video script, working to translate the ideas into an effective narrative. At the same time, I gathered visual references that could help reinforce the concept and define the project’s aesthetic style.Once the narrative structure was established, I created a storyboard to visualize the sequence of scenes, plan the shots, and organize the filming process more strategically. This step proved essential in ensuring visual coherence and a fluid storyline.During the shooting phase, I involved two colleagues, assigning them the task of filming me and taking photos throughout the process to document the behind-the-scenes work and enrich the project materials. In the editing phase, I chose an IDM track by Seefeel as the soundtrack. Its abstract and hypnotic sounds helped enhance the video’s atmosphere. I synchronized the visuals with the music, alternating rhythms and sequences to create a compelling visual flow consistent with the theme explored.

CONCEPT
Concept: The project began with a question: What drives people to write their name on walls in the form of tags? Is it the fear of being forgotten, knowing that only a few will leave a lasting mark on collective memory? Or is it an act of assertion a way to claim one’s existence in the eyes of the world? Logline: "A graffiti artist tormented by the fear of being forgotten follows a ritual of burning other artists’ tags to assert his own existence, until he finds his own name among those destined to disappear, and his certainty begins to crumble.".
